Not seeing improvement in my SAT scores...

I've been doing practice tests since November, of course I only did a couple during the school year, but I recently did 2 during the break. My scores aren't seeing the improvement that I want. I'm constantly getting in the low 600's-low 700's, and while I didn't rigorously study in the school year, I still feel like I did enough work during that time and during the break to see some sort of improvement. What's going on? What should I do? How do you recommend I improve my score? I'm aiming for a 2400 (obviously), but anything above a 2300 would satisfy.

Tell me that you’re doing more than just practice tests to prepare for the SAT.

Of course. I’m not just taking practice test after practice test hoping for some improvement. I’ve taken a Saturday class since November, done work out of prep books, read strategies out of prep books, and gone over all the question on these practice tests.

I plan on taking the SAT this year by the way.

Rigorously go through the questions you got wrong. If you’re not doing that you just wasted hours doing practice tests.

Try your hardest for the 2400 but since it’s multiple choice with questionable wording there’s a lot of luck in the getting a perfect score. Shoot for 2400, be real happy with a 2300+ and be satisfied with a 2200. A composite 2200 will put you in the top 1%. GL

You’ll have to start paying attention to the details. General studying is usually good enough to get you up to a 2100, but when missing a single question can take thirty points off your score, you need to focus and streamline your studying.

I’d say that anything over 2270 is good though- when you get into the upper range, GPA and ECs are more important.
