Not sure about stafford loan disbursement

So I applied for the Stafford Loans and got accepted. Also when I check my aid status under "Disbursement Information" it shows in the "Award Information" Chart that I got accepted for the loans, but the loans are not listed in the "Disbursed Aid" Chart and it also states that "Currently there are no outstanding funds to be disbursed to your BA/RC account." The loans also don't appear on my BARC.

So I'm wondering if the Stafford Loans are just applied directly to one's cost or if I should call the Financial Aid Office and ask them about it.

Thanks for reading :)

itll be applied to your BARC…wait a bit and if it still hasnt been disbursed, call the FA office

When you say you applied, you mean you accepted the loan and did all the paperwork (i.e. the promissory note…etc), right?

Yeah I filled out the promissory note and did the entrance counseling.

You have to accept the loan. There should be some place where it says accept your financial aid or something like that. Then on your disbursement information the description should change from offered to accepted.
