Not sure which math to take...please advise!

I'm going to use the summer to prepare for the SAT II's in the fall. I want to take a math SAT II, but I'm not sure whether to take Math I or Math II. I am a pretty decent math student... I have always taken the highest level offered and I just finished honors Pre-calc this past year (my junior year). I will be taking AP Calc AB next year.

What do you think would be the best test for me to take? I may be applying ED/EA, so I would really only get one chance to take the SAT IIs so I have to make sure I choose the test that I will most likely do better on! Also, if you could offer any studying tips and/or books you used, that'd be great! Thanks!!

If you’ve taken pre-calc, take Math II.

Barron’s is good for prep. Just be aware that it’s a lot harder than the real test.

it’s almost always a good idea to take Math II. the questions are not much harder at all, and the curve is very generous.

IIc all the wayyyyyyy

Agreed, Math II  I took Math I after a year of Calc and got a 740 (angry face) and then took Math II this year and got a 790. The curve is muuuuuuch better and the questions werent that much harder, imho

Math IIC for sure. I’m in the same boat as you except I was unable to take Pre-Calculus as a junior.
