The late registration deadline for the Jan. SAT is today! I need one more SAT II and was considering math. However, I can't decide between Math I or II. I have heard that it is easier to get a perfect score on the Math II (in terms of it being curved--for ex. you could get 3,4 problems wrong and still end up with a 800) than the Math I (1 prob. wrong, and you are already down to 7XX).

*FYI-I am a senior in AP Calc. AB (which I'm not doing too hot in, a "B") and the highest I got on the SAT I Math section was a 640.

Basically: They're equally as "easy" in that IIc has slightly harder questions/material, but Ic has a MUCH harder curve, so I would actually say it's EASIER to get an 800 on IIc than it is on Ic. But the content that each covers was correctly reported by the previous posters.

My daughter's counselor advised her to take the Math I AND the Math II. She got a score of 800 on the SAT, and is currently in AP Calc. This doesn't make any sense to me. Has anyone received similar advise or can anyone tell me why you want to take the Math I and the Math II? Most colleges that want 2 or more Subject Tests, don't want them from the same subject, correct?
