Not Taking a Science my Junior year?

Would it look bad to not take a science or Ap science junior year? I plan on majoring in economics or somthing like that. After my sophomore year I will have completed Honors biology, Honors Physics, Honors Chemistry, and Ap environmental science. I already have 4 sciences but my councelor told me that it would be a good idea to take a science class.. Would not taking a science look bad to colleges?

Most colleges recommend taking at least 3 or 4 sciences. You’re in a really good position. At my school a student needs only 3 sciences to graduate: ICP (Intro to Chemistry and Physics) or AB Physics, Biology and or Chemistry I or Fundamentals of Chemistry or Physics I. Your counselor probably told you that because most colleges require students to take a science class, and by taking an AP science class it eliminates that science requirement in college.

If youre absolutely sure youre not going to be a science major, then go for it.

Ill be taking AP bio and AP physics B my senior year…or atleast one of them. Its just that my junior year already has too much going on

Oh okay, Then you are fine then. :)

I think you will be fine. By junior year I will have completed Honors Chemstry, Honors Biology, Honors Earth Science, AP Environmental and AP Biology

I see no reason not to take a science course junior and senior year. I only need 4 science courses to graduate, but I’ll have 7 by the time I graduate. I think you should take the science courses, regardless of what you plan to major on in the future.
