My essays recommendations are amazing(what the teachers told me), my EC's are pretty good too. Can anyone tell me realistically what my chances are? Will chance back!

Never write “14/20” as it means something totally different on the American scale.
Your 14 is an A+ average and your school being ranked # 1 in your country will help. If you’re full pay, you have a shot at BU and Northeastern, everything else is difficult to predict because you have excellent grades, a very good IELTS score, but numerical admissions will have to weight your SAT score Vs. the fact you’re full pay. I would imagine one of the 4 (Umich, UCSD, UCLA, UCB) will admit you but it’s far from certain.
Are you really only applying to these 6 schools?

Yes… In the worst case I dont get accepted to one of these colleges I will go to a local college in my country which is not that bad…

Ok then if you have a safety at home, you’re fine, you can just keep your fingers crossed (for good luck). Do let us know what happens once you have your results!

Sure will keep you posted! Hoping for the best.

If you are only aiming for top colleges, then get rid of UCSD. The only good UCs are Berkeley and LA

httr21: clearly you know A LOT about UC’s, selectivity, rankings, etc.
Or perhaps you can explain to OP what makes “a good UC” vs. a school s/he shouldn’t apply to. In that case what school should OP replace UCSD with? U San Diego?
Unless you’re being sarcastic (but typically only senior members do sarcasm when an applicant seems to select only reach schools - and here clearly OP has a safety so we’re not in the same context.)

It was a joke… ;)

got into northeastern :)

into bu and ucsd too

Nice congrats!

and uc berkeley
