After Thursday morning stabbing and attempted robbery on Cross Campus, victim in good condition</p>
<p>I'm not about to suggest Yale's campus crime situation is totally out of control (that distinction still goes to Penn), but it is worth noting.</p>
<p>for the record, I <3 Yale, and would happily go were I not simply a beautiful face with a tiny brain.</p>

<p>Why not? If Elle Woods can get into Harvard Law School, a beautiful face with a tiny brain could get into Yale too. LOL :)</p>
<p>Yale does not need any cheerleaders. Its reputation is strong enough without CC posters posting untruths like "Yale has amazingly strong science" and so on.</p>
<p>I find this thread to be pretty funny, as I have also noticed on the by-and-by posterX's extreme bias towards Yale... although that article doesn't prove much of anything (campus crimes are not a rare occurrence in many areas).</p>

<p>Don't judge all of the student body based on posterx. I love Yale too - and it's an amazing enough school to hold its own even without me tooting its horn 24/7.</p>
<p>Well, it's New Haven. If you counted the homeless in the areas slightly away from Yale, you'd run out of fingers and toes...</p>

Though the MIT students are said to be the smartest of them all...i've heard that from Harvard kids! :)</p>
<p>Actually, i was at a CVS in Cambridge and there was a huge line at the cashier, and this old guy started cursing at the cashiers with lines like : what the hell does it take for this place to run, friggin MIT kids? MIT students - quote on quote - make up a distinct class of geekiness on their own :D</p>
