I applied too, and got my confirmation email from Wendy Faucette. But it says:

Before time for decisions to be mailed, we will send you a letter with your unique usercode and password needed to access your admission decision on-line. It is not possible to give these codes over the phone or by email, so keep the information in a safe place. Our Web site will have information about when decisions will be available on-line.

I still haven't gotten this letter...and it's been almost a month and a half now. It's not a big deal, since it's still months till April, but I'm starting to wonder if it hasn't been lost in the mail or something.

I applied RD, no confirmation email here.. maybe filter grabbed it, oh well..

My application was in by 12/15 and I got notified after a friend who got her application in by 1/02 or so I think. I think around this time of year it's really just luck when they get to your application. I think it just piles up and they only have so many people processing the applications.

When I called the admissions office last week they said not to worry about it until the 1-2 weeks of February. I know that doesn't help alleviate any worries, it didn't for me at least. Then again, I have no patience. Good luck though.

I sent mine in one January 3rd and heard back 10 days later. Sent mine by snail-mail also. Hmm. . .

Ecliptica, you have said in earlier posts that you are a recruited runner, so your app may have been flagged for quick response. If other applicants haven't received your password letters in a few weeks, you can call and find out if all the letters with that info have been sent out yet. If the letter is lost it can be re-sent; that is not the same as giving password information over the phone or by e-mail. Incidentally, Davidson is usually extremely efficient and nice to deal with; they do occasionally have odd problems with getting mail out in a uniform and timely fashion--one of their few weaknesses!

I know it was definitely flagged, but I doubt that would've helped them get it in 10 days; it's all luck.

On a related note, I'm supposed to be at Davidson for my second official overnight this weekend, but thanks to Mother Nature, I had to reschedule for the middle of February. I hate you, snow, now you know why I'm heading South.

I've spent the day at Davidson before but I'm doing my first overnight February 1st. Salman Rushdie is speaking that night and then the next day I'm visiting some classes.

I'm staying with Ryan Kleier from the track team; getting in on a practice and going to some classes. I think I'm going mid-February.
30 inches of snow and I'm stuck in Massachusetts :(

Ah, never mind. Got the password letter today...I guess they were just inundated with apps or something.

I logged in and it said my app wasn't complete...grr. I know I turned in everything.

I had previously recieved the email from Wendy Faucette...and today I got the snail-mail letter!!!!!!!!!! GO DAVIDSON

Nice enthusiasm CubsRule!

I got my letter today! yay! but it still says not everything has been processed... hmm... but it looks like most people are having that problem too...
