Notification of Received Application

The Priority Deadline for Belk Scholarship was 12/15/04...I submitted Part II of my app that night and mailed my recs and some supplemental material two days before that and my peer recommendation was sent 12/14. I received the email telling me they received Part II of my application but I've been waiting for something in the mail or email saying they have received everything. Did any of you apply online and mail stuff in and receive confirmation through mail? I'm wondering if I should call them.

i applied using snail mail and am still waiting for a notice... i'm also up for a berk scholarship and just submitted my stuff on the 31st, so don't worry.

OK...nevermind the question, I found my own answer. I emailed the admissions office and they said that they send you an email (I would assume letter if you didn't apply online or give them an email address) when they have received all parts of your application or if they are missing a part of your application. They said it just takes them a little bit this time of year to get to all of them so you might have to wait 3-4 weeks.

I'm also up for the Belk Scholarship, but I submitted my stuff on the 31st as well. I certainly hope that doesn't impact anything.

i got my email on saturday, yay! :) i'm sure you'll get your's soon if you haven't yet.

I got mine too....yay!

Nothing yet over here. . .hmm. . .

My stuff was sent on or by the 15th of December...no letter about the whole application yet (just that they got Part II online).

I called a little bit ago and I don't feel like calling again...this is bugging me.

Should I call again? This Saturday will be mean one month after sending...that's quite a long time.

Dear Patrick Hankins,

We have received your application, and we look forward to reviewing it. Thank
you!

That's not the email we are talking about, right?

Wait, did all you guys apply online? I sent my stuff by snail-mail. . .

I sent Part I, money, recs, transcript, and supplementary materials by mail and Part II online

Ooh, okay, I sent everything by mail, so I suppose that's why I haven't received any notification.

Double post, just got it:

Was that in the mail and when did you send in your stuff?

I called again today and they told me they wouldn't tell me if my application was complete even though it's been over a month (I pointed that out).

I'm annoyed...even more.

That was an e-mail I received from Marilyn Ainsile. I sent mine in on January 3rd by snail-mail, too. I don't know what to tell ya.

Marilyn Ainslie* sorry.

I just got my email from Marilyn Ainslie...now I feel foolish for freaking out.

I think I worried more about them getting my application than I did/have/will about getting into most of the schools I've applied to (even my crazy reaches).

Did anyone apply for the any of the special application scholarships?

I applied for the music scholarships. What did you apply for?

The chemistry one. I figured the application wasn't too bad. I just wonder how many are planning on majoring in chemistry.
