I was recently given two days of after-school detention by my administrator for tardiness and leaving school without permission. I believe that it will show up in my final transcipt. I had already turned my enrollment forms in and I was wondering of I have to notify the college and if I do will the college really care or take away my scholarship?

you can send in a fax with the info, but the college won't care

Okay:

Usually only suspensions show up on transcripts.

No one will care. Don't notify them- if it shows up on your transcript, then fine. It's not a big deal. As long as it doesn't have anything to do with cheating/something terrible, they won't care. Heck, at my school an Ivy accepted a kid from my school who had been suspended for drinking.

thank you citygirlsmom and brillar. I feel much relieved now. Anyone else can respond if there is anything else they would like to add.

I'd have to say, don't worry about it, much like Brillar and Citygirlsmom did.

Only worry if it's a suspension or something worse.

You can do both of those things at college with little or no punishment. The days where people nitpick you for mundane "discipline problems" are over.

roar789,
I would let your college know just to be straight up. Like the other posters, I think the offenses are trivial and won't cause your admission to be rescinded or even reevaluated. If anything, the behaviors are expected of a senior trying to relax a bit after all of the stress of the application season.
