Notre Dame EA decision announcement date

How is that possible to receive it California already?
It was mailed YESTERDAY.

Never trust the Posts: 1

1 post, just made an account… Literally no chance that it is real.

Why are there so many trolls on this thread… Or maybe it’s just one tricky person making different accounts.

Oh Notre Dame!

I guess some kids are bored with exams having finished and Christmas break starting early.

In addition to only one post, a username of “mikewow” just doesn’t sound like a parent to me. Also, a parent would likely be more anxious to post the child’s reaction than the state of residence.

Live in South cal, can confirm that mail won’t come until saturday at earliest haha

I doubt that person is trolling. I live in Washington and people have started getting their letters as well. Mine still hasn’t come in yet though.

considering it takes 20 hours at the least to drive from indiana to california, it’s not likely haha.
of course i’m hoping he’s right and my decision comes tomorrow, but I’m staying relistic

Feel free to doubt! I posted picture of my son on facebook! He is in shock. It was a small envelope with ND “Welcome Home” along the bottom. ( at first he thought it was a rejection letter)
Yes, this is my first post. I was so excited I made a quick account and thought of a user name.
Good luck everyone. His cousin, also in CA did not receive a letter yet.

thank you ostrich tamer for the support. I have been following the threads ( mom) and I posted my excitement.

I’m not quite sure I believe that an acceptance letter came in a small envelope. They kind of have to use a big envelope because it’s not just a letter; there are a whole lot more materials included.

This kind of ■■■■■ is my least favorite of the breed. Not only does he want to get everyone’s hopes up that their letter will come, but he’s spreading false hope that if you happen to see a small letter, it just might be an acceptance. Lousy, as I said in my first post. Some people are actually anxious and take this seriously. Give it a rest and go back to playing video games.

■■■■■… acceptances come in a big envelope as it contains a folder with lots of info in it. I know, we have received 3 over the course of 6 years, one after receiving the small envelope with a WL letter.

get a life mikewow

Hi all, good luck to everyone today, tomorrow and next week, whenever those letters come. I’m not sure what size the envelopes are for ND but fwiw, one of my kids got an acceptance from a top state flagship that was in a regular white business envelope. Just a one page letter, not a packet and very inconspicuous. I’m guessing most private EA schools would have a flashier letter but who knows?

Let’s not start a debate on big vs little to create anxiety and false hope. ND acceptances are in a big envelope.

Sorry. I wasn’t trying to start anything.

100% Notre Dame gives big envelopes for acceptance. There’s no argument. That’s a fact

Hey everyone! I know this is extremely stressful! I’m going through all the anxiety too. Now, more than ever though, we should pull together as the future ND community. Thanks everyone for all the information.

My son got a rejection letter in today’s mail (small envelope) - we live in Pennsylvania. He had a 4.0+ GPA, all AP and honors, 13 years of catholic school, 32 on the ACT composite, and a 2 sport all star. Not sure he could have done anything different.
