@OliviaFR Haha, that’s basically College Confidential; just a bunch of people with crazy amazing stats that make you second guess yourself constantly. Also, although there is not an email, in previous years people have had a confirmation form pop up under their Application Checklist in the Application Manager if they got accepted, but that usually happens closer to the mailing date. Best of luck!
Anybody get anything yet?
@guy1234 Not yet, last year people started knowing if they go in or out by Wednesday of the week before the acceptance letters are sent out.
Guys, I just got an email from them a few minutes ago. It went like this:
“[Name]
Please see the attachment to this email. We thank you so much for applying and for your interest in the University of Notre Dame!”
And then there was a PDF file attached. Opening it was a difficult moment as in that file lay what would happen this July. And, I finally did it.
Long story short, I am accepted!
@11kysta mind sharing stats, extracurricular, or hooks?
@college61728 I have done that already, early on in the discussion. Still, let me do a quick copy and paste for you.
SAT: 2130
GPA: 10.0/10.0 (UW)
A lot of extra curricular activities including volunteering activities.
Founded the country’s first hackathon for high school students.
Captain of school soccer team.
No choice for courses at high school (Have already taken Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre Calculus, English, Social Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Foreign Language for 5+ years)
Leader of Student Government at school
Won 8 Model United Nations Conferences across the country.
Won numerous National Level Competitions. (Latest being one in robotics at the most prestigious institution of the country)
I considered these enough to include in the application for the leadership seminars. Rest, I included in the CV and uploaded it. The CV turned out to be of 8 pages in actuality, which I don’t think is a good thing.
Hope that helps.
has anybody gotten a rejection letter?
Has anyone’s status changed on the ND site. Once you sign in, it would be on the very bottom of the page that confirms that all of your materials have been received. In the past, it was on the bottom in red.
do you have the link @rungreen
@rungreen Has yours? Mine hasnt
Nope. No change for me.
Is it supposed to change?
@11kysta Has yours changed if you login (refer to rungreen’s comment)
No email, no status change in portal. @11kysta Has your status changed in the application portal?
@rungreen by the looks of readying 11kysta’s comment they will send you an email if you were accepted or rejected
I think I read that the portal changes if you are accepted. You will be able to use a link to fill out required forms. Additionally, I think you get an email if accepted.
but the thing is that last year they did not send emails, or so i read
As far as I understood, only international students would be receiving emails.
I actually sent an email to ND and got an auto response that said all letters would be mailed the 7th and all international would students receive notification by email, so don’t believe US students get one, they haven’t in years past…
Also, the link to the online portal is:

No change for me
