I know! I just keep telling myself that the chances are slim and that I should forget about it until the mail comes, but I’m clearly not doing a good job if I keep getting on this thread!
My 2nd recommender still hasn’t sent in her letter and it just shows as awaiting on the application, will it reflect poorly on me if hers comes in late? It still gives me the option to exclude it. She had trouble with the link last week so she has already emailed the committee to get that fixed so I feel like they already know that she’s sending in a recommendation for me and would be surprised to see that hers wasn’t included. But it could be worse if it comes in so late. I really don’t know what she’s doing, I’ve sent multiple emails and she’s told me twice in person that she’d get it done. Do I exclude or just wait?
Yeah, and my first rec is really strong, too. Thanks! I was freaking out last night, but there really wasn’t anything I could do about it and I hope the Admissions Committee understands that.
Hi y’all! Best of luck to everyone applying this year! I was wondering if anyone knows if you can submit a ACT/SAT score after the deadline has passed in addition to the standardized test score you have already provided. Thanks!

Hey! I’m from Florida and I applied to Global Issues This is so exciting!! Like I’m kiiinda nervous looking at these SAT scores lol cause mine aren’t as good, but my essays were bomb so I’m hoping they look at that more haha
I applied to the Science and Ethics Seminar! I hope I get in, it has been my dream for as long as I can remember to be a student at Notre Dame. I believe participating in the seminar will help to give me an edge in the application process!
As encouragement to you all… I kept an eye on this board last year as my daughter had applied. She had only been able to submit her PSAT scores (which weren’t terrible but certainly were not outstanding.) If I remember correctly, she was able to submit her ACT’s at a later date which were very good, but not stellar. She was denied but the letter mentioned that she was on the wait list. Turns out, we received a phone call several weeks later and she had been accepted. Not only that, but she received her first choice of Science, Technology and Ethics (which was interesting since some students who were accepted right away did not get that as their first choice but were accepted into their second). It turned out to be the best two weeks of her life. She is still in touch with many of the friends she made. In addition, she was accepted to ND and is now a semifinalist for the Hesburgh-Yusko scholarship. So, if you are waitlisted…keep praying. And if you are accepted, by all means attend! But if you are accepted and your heart isn’t really excited then turn it down and make room for someone who’s life it will change for the better.
@tsce89 I was going to not because I got into another program that was for the whole summer, but my whole application was already in and I realized I could attend both programs if Notre Dame accepts me as well which would be like AMAZING because i’d have the chance to combine both things I love in the same summer.
I didn’t get any email. That makes me really nervous, but I’m applying to other programs, too. So maybe I’ll get into one Any other opinions on whether I should bother sending not-stellar SAT subject test scores? I made a note that I could send them on the application if they are needed but didn’t hear anything from them that they needed them. I sent them a 32 ACT and a 202 PSAT; My SAT subject test scores were 730 Lit, 650 USH, and 670 Math 1.
