Notre Dame: Mendoza School of Business will not be accepting transfer students!

<p>Unfortunately, University of Notre Dame have recently adopted a policy of not accepting Transfer students to Mendoza School of Business & School of Architecture.
<a href="https://admissions.nd.edu/transfer/academicrequirements.cfm%5B/url%5D"&gt;https://admissions.nd.edu/transfer/academicrequirements.cfm&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p>

<p>That sound's depressing....
ND was in my Top 10 list.......
Here was my current list (I made it by averaging the ranks of Business Programs from U.S. News Ranking & Businessweek) - excluded: MIT (Sloan) (<em>i didn't took any Physics course) & UNC - Kenan Fagler (</em>not an interesting school)</p>

<p>1.University of Pennsylvania - Wharton
2.New York University - Stern (Original Rank: 7 , had to bump it up coz it's in NY)
3.Cornell University - AEM (Original Rank: 9 , had to bump it up coz it's in NY)
4.University of California (Berkley) - Haas
5.University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) - Ross
6.University of Virginia - McIntire
7.Emory University - Goizueta
8.University of Texas (Austin) - McComb's</p>

<h2>9.University of Notre Dame<<< To be replaced</h2>

<p>10.Syracuse University - Whitman (*SAFE: Original Rank: probably 40's... *I am from Syracuse)</p>

<p>So there's an empty slot now.... can anyone tell me which one of the following three should I put up on my list:
Olin School of Business (WashU), Marshall School of Business (USC) or McDonough School of Business (Georgetown)
***Major: Accounting/Finance</p>

<p>Yeah...it's kind of pathetic. They're trying to pull a Princeton or something along the lines of that. Screw them.</p>

<p>You should put all three on your list to be honest. They're top-notch schools.</p>

<p>they haven't accepted transfer students in a few years. when i was applying to schools as a transfer that was the case.</p>

<p>um.. you dont need ten, i love how you think unc is uniteresting..
ah.. the stereotypes i could say just about now..</p>

<p>polska....
i might be ignorant of the facts... but i don't like UNC in general coz:
1) never heard of it
2) public school
3) 83% seats reserved for North Carolina residents
4) pakistani community is almost non-existent
5) definitely not a place for international students! (commented by Business Week & theU.com)</p>

<p>however.... i think...provided ND is out of my list... i might include UNC</p>

<p>haha ok sorry man but unc really is a good school i would think kenan is better that uva or emory</p>

<p>i am confused.... btw all thos public business schools...
all i am going is by rankings... mainly from U.S. News & Business Week</p>

<p>what i am looking for is:
1) strength of accounting/finance curriculum
2) the average salary of student's graduating
3) international exposure given to students (I lov NYU for that... they have that International Studies Program....totally sponsored by the Barr family!)
4) wat is more important is whether it's a public or a private school... I have waited all these years to go to a private school... and i am not willing to comprise!_)
5)Lastly, diversity!.... specially Pakistani community (Hmmm... sorry but i won't feel that comfortable with indians)</p>

<p>how about duke too?</p>

<p>duke doesnot offer accounting/finance at undergraduate level</p>

<p>uiuc has a really strong accounting program if I remember right. my little brother almost majored in that. :p not sure about their finance though.</p>
