@WineLover When you say the average ACT score is 32-34 is that composite or superscore?
@Runnergirl1226 I believe that is composite. I donât think ND has done superscoring before this year. And even if they did, I donât believe they would use superscores in their stats, but I am not sure about that.
@runnergirl292 I donât think so but it could be. I got an email from USC on February 20 that said additional info required, but they said that the notice wasnât an indication of admission decision. It could be different for Notre Dame though. I thought admission decisions and financial aid were evaluated separately. Did you not submit your FAFSA or CSS?
@runnergirl292 were you straight up missing a document or was a tax form just unsigned?
@asianboy3155 @thestud517 I am not missing any documents, there was just a discrepancy in one of mine. I was just wondering if the fact that they were going through my documents was a good sign of not?
Regular Decision notifications on March 19th early evening.
According to the Admissions Webpage
@thstud517 last year Reilly weekend invites went out 3/16 (Friday) after 6pm
so from 12-3 on the 19th we will know
@Acortez122 Actually, I think it would still be at 18:42 (6:42) p.m. to go along with the whole when the university was founded thing
thats preety dope imo
Anyone get Reilly invites?
I KNOW NOTRE DAME DECISIONS ARE COMING OUT IN TWO DAYS AND IM FREAKING OUT. I JUST CHECKED MY COMMON APP AGAIN AND I REALIZED FOR THE RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION QUESTION I PUT CHURCH OF CHRIST INSTEAD OF ROMAN CATHOLIC. My common app profile indicates that I am roman catholic tho, which I am. This wouldnât be a deal breaker right? I heard there are non-catholic going to Notre Dame. Sorry, just really nervous and I am freaking out over here. help please if you have gotten into the school even though you are non-catholic. Thank you!
Hey guys I just found this forum but I too applied to ND via RD. Good luck to all of you. Can anyone confirm that we will be hearing on the 19th? I just want to look it up and show my parents proof is all. Thank you!
@bdpink33 Log into your applicant portal and it says at the top it will be released on the 19th (evening)
I know everyone is quite nervous with decisions coming out quite soon, so as a fellow nervous student, I would like to share and offer some advice: I applied REA to Notre Dame, so when I got deferred (which is a really weird experience, like getting rejected and accepted at the same time), I was able to take a step back and really evaluate why I wanted to go this school. Something I realized, and this is going to sound real cliche but bear with me, is that whatever Notre Dame decides on Tuesday, it matters what you do with it. Each one of us has the tools to change the world, and Notre Dame is just one of the many universities that can guide us along the way. I donât know who needs to hear this, but I am proud of you. If Notre Dame is your dream school or even if it isnât, donât let what you hope to achieve rest solely on this decision. Everything has a funny way of working itself out
@scottywu77, I have two kids at ND and neither is Catholic. Not a deal breaker at all.
@sj2019 very well said. My son was deferredâŠhe still has ND at the top of his listâŠfor many of the right reasons and is anxiously awaiting 642 tomorrow nightâŠbut we have explored a few other options that he has been accepted to that would also be wonderful for him. Your dream school becomes the one that you chooseâŠthis is a two sided decisionâŠthat is what I keep reminding my son. My fingers are crossed for all of those waiting!!! thank you for your words of encouragement.
@suzy100 thank you so much for your response. I was just getting nervous since I am in fact catholic and I did indicate that in the common app profile section. However, I made the the mistake of putting âchurch of christâ in the Notre Dame questionnaire which is why I was freaking out. Hopefully it will not make or break my application.
@scottywu77 I understand your nervousness and I am too! The Notre Dame admission process is holistic so just one aspect of your common application wonât carry so much weight that it will certainly make or break your decision. Weâre gonna make it; just pray and trust in God.
Previous years RD threads have noted that if you check this link about a half hour before decision time, you can find out if you were admitted: https://confirm.nd.edu/
From what i have gleaned from these posts, if you can gain access and get the option to confirm your admission, itâs a sign you have been admitted. If you cannot gain access, donât read anything into it because some were admitted, denied or wait listed.
