First off, let me say I am not planning to have admission rescinded but right now, yes, I am failing a class second semester but it is AP BC Calculus, probably the toughest class in my school (well regarded public school in Ohio). I have all A’s second semester except that one E, got all A’s and a B first semester. Of course I am planning on getting that grade up but does anyone know of any ND admit who got admission rescinded and if so, what were the grounds for reminding that admit? Are there certain letter grades that would warrant this? I can’t find anything on the website but am concerned. Please let me know if you know the specifics or if ND even rescinds admission at all?
I heard the rule is that they “review” your offer if you get either 2 Cs or 1 D.
If you end with an F in AP Calc for the entire year, then you certainly would have to explain that to Notre Dame, and frankly, I believe they might rescind your admission.
Bring it up to at least a D, no matter what. Or even considering dropping the course if it is possible (make sure to contact notre dame and ask if it is okay beforehand though).
If the final grade of the YEAR is a D or a C, you should be fine.
I’m not sure that a D would be fine. Is there a way to pull it up to a C? Tutoring, extra credit, etc?
