November 2008 SAT Subject Test: Biology

its 6. its sparrow. Its phtosynthesis for fungus vs algae. It is either "imprinting" or "learning" for the protozoa for the food. What did you guys put for "rat is like which of the following animals?" and number4, which was "it is what reduces wind + heat loss"?

and I thought the protozoa following food was taxis.....

Is the embargo lifted yet?

okay for the rat I put squirrell...two rodents...?

hair is correct! yay!

i guess its taxis lol. But i thought taxis was only for like gravity, light, winds and stuffs. Not food. But i have feeling taxis is right.

how is it 6?

for the AaBBCc question it was 4 100% positive (ABC, ABc, aBC and aBc) those r the only combinations possible using all three..i checked my review book too. It is sparrow bc birds have high metabolism for gflight and hollow bone structure. Protozoa was taxis, I too put hair and the algea and fingui is algea is autotropich while fungi are only heterotrophic. hope that helped.

I'm not sure about my answers, but I got taxis for the protozoa one, 4 for the AaBBCc one, photosynthesis for the fungi one...but how about the first question? I forgot the question but I put epidermis

there was same question for that AaBBCc on CC practice test. the answer was 6...

voodoo i think #1 was guard cell

and what was the answer to the human genome question with gene sequencing does anyone remember? lol and the part of the watscon crick experiment where most organic stuff is made? aannd for anyone that did ecology..why did the red oak blossom more; because animals brought seeds, because it got more light etc.??

so one wrong that i know of... i was confident it was 8. dang.

erm. i think i put 30,000 proteins..

Miller and Urey did the experiment.

30K since it uses the one gene one protein rule (or whatever it's called)

yeess lol right...sorry...the miller one :)

also why were there a small amount of young red trees?

For anyone who did M, what did you put in for the last 4 questions? 96-100 really screwed me over, because I don't remember having read anything about it, at all!

ahh do u remeber the questions for 96-100? and i put something with proteins for the 30,000 genes
