Arthur/Charlotte was horrible. Moby Dick was okay, though. The play tripped me up.

Arthur/Charlotte and South Africa were the best ones. Moby killed me. I had to leave the last three blank ugh! I am hoping for a 700! lol

any answers to share?

Was the play question’s answer about the last line, ‘breaking the illusion’ or ‘returning them to mundane activities’? I didn’t see the difference.

what was the south africa LOL?

I chose breaking the illusion…

So did I…

…I’m leaving this forum temporarily. Looking at the Maths 2C and Lit threads both are making me ill.

This was my first time taking it and I felt it to be pretty easy. I finished with about 5 or 10 minutes left.
Were charlotte and arthur timid lovers?
And the phone I put breaking illusion I think

i put breaking illusion of world peace or whatever…

i said charlotte and arthur were recent acquaintances or something like that. i never remember the exact wording.

this was hard. are SATII Lit tests always this hard?? dang.

i had no idea about the last poem.

I practised and practised complex poetry analysis and became an expert with poetic devices etc. Thanks, Kaplan. Big help that was. WHY WAS THERE SO MUCH PROSE WHHY.

Does anyone remember the one with the farmers?

that was ridiculously hard. i had no idea what i was doing on that last passage.

i can’t remember the questions on the farmer one.

what was that star/astrology poem talking about? i feel like i guessed on most of them.

Can anyone remember the names of the characters in the first passage?

i came into the lit test thinking it would be a breeze for me since i made a 760 on the sat CR but i was soooo wrong.
that test made me feel like a complete ■■■■■■… i don’t know i just couldn’t read this morning or if i suck really bad literature… i didn’t prep at all other than some practice ap lit MC in my ap class.
i could only follow 3 passages: the fist one on astrology, the conversation one about him being sick and the play. everything else made no sense at all. I’m probably looking at less than a 500.

oh one of the farmer’s name was albert in the first passage.

Cal Ericson, “my father” and Harold, not Albert I believe

Seriously though, there was a passage on South Africa? LOL

the play was set in africa right?

fly above the vulgar throng
so you may remain in my immortal song

Farmer one:

What is the farmer’s tone toward Ericson? i put disdain

Why does Ericson exchange goods with the speaker’s father and so and so?
something about to earn what the other does best

Why does the father mention something about college?
forgot the answer but i know it was pretty easy- something about his father and how it isn’t practical

which of these is NOT something a farmer should do (based on the last section of the passage)? ugh forgot the choices.

Astrology one:
How is the style set up? contrast between the fools and the speaker
Who is doing the brawl? the celestial bodies
Something about proof…about the forejudging…i put looking into stella’s eyes will show a pattern…something like that.
