as it goes towards carrying cap i think density-dependent factors limit pop growth(someone please confirm), protozoa to food is taxis

@ Jbieber: totally agree with u. Ah, trees grow from top :D

people were getting 800’s with 5 or even more wrong. hopefully we’ll get a similar curve?

@Nritya

That seems ridiculous especially after taking Sparknotes ones. Hopefully we get a good curve though.

guys if anyone remembers any of the other questions, let me know!!

The M test was way easier than last month’s! Expecting at least a 750 unless I made some careless errors I am not currently aware of. :D

the scale score chart on sparknotes is not generous, theres usually a better curve

Hey guys,
anybody remember these following questions?

was the answer for any of the question bristle? I think I put hair and epidermis.

Anybody know the answer for the veinous blood going back to heart?

Is the answer for bony skeleton question snake?

are there any other tricky questions???

Maybe I’m asking a question that has already been answered, but how is the answer for the endosymbiotic theory question similar RNA?

Wiki - Endosymbiotic Theory

“They are surrounded by two or more membranes, and the innermost of these shows differences in composition from the other membranes of the cell. The composition is like that of a prokaryotic cell membrane.”

I believe the similarities in terms of genetic material between mitochondria and prokaryotes are from DNA not RNA?

Wiki- Mitochondria
“Further, its DNA shows substantial similarity to bacterial genomes.”

ragna what was the question for veinous blood
- hair and epidermis should be right
- bony skeleton is shark

I actually took SAT2 Bio in Asia (Shanghai) so maybe I got a different question set.
I do see a lot of common questions but
I had this question about veinous blood returning back to the heart.
I guess you guys didn’t get it…

What is 3 wrong and 1 omit? Is it still an 800 ?
I do have 1 omit and how many can I get wrong to still get an 800??

did you guys also get this question set?
putting hay and boiling it for 20 minutes and then putting some soil and measuring different organisms?
do you guys remember answers for this? or is this another questions that only ppl in Asia had??

2-3 wrong depending on the curve

2-3 wrong???
thats crazy omgggggggg
what do you think this time?

I think the phosphate one was pollution, no?

I’m really pessimistic about this test…
Anyone else wants to retake it with me December? :'(

dude relax 780-800 is the same thing, subject tests arent that important

true
thing is I got 720 for October,
and my activities ALL revolve around environment and biology,
so I actually do want a perfect score… : (

why was the answer not imprinting for the protozoa (I think). The question asked how they knew to go toward food.

it is not imprinting because imprinting is the stuff like duck following its mom or following whatever it sees when it is born. it is done in a critical period.

I did not even know what taxis means and i chose taxis because i knew imprinting just does not make sense.

just google it
