CR (-3 to -5): 750
Maths: -3/-4: 700
Writing: -2/-3 (10): 720
2170 was what I was consistently getting on the released CB blue book tests

If -10 = 680 in CR, then I’m expecting:
CR - 680
M- 800 (hopefully)
W- 750-800 (I’m really uncertain)
Total= 2230-2280

^ The curve will be different because the sample size of test-takers will be much larger than the previous one. It would be readjusted statistically. But anyway, this SAT is probably harder, as you can see from the hot debates.

No I never had those, I saw another strange one “mentor and something” I think they were in the experimental CR section

Hm, I did not take the test but it looks like some of the passages may have came from the December 2008 International exam:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/610485-international-test-discussions.html

Vocalization was about the whales - yes thats correct
Loner - Correct
Mentor and fledgling - yes thats correct.

^ omgosh wow how on earth did you dig that out lol

hey what would i get if i got CR -7 WR -3 and 11 for essay

@gogogogo: CR - 700 WR ~ 730

I put stable environment also
Did anyone put “markets and fairs in urban places” for the question that asked for the argument that would most undermine the author’s point?

CR (-3/-5)~720-740
Wr -3(12)~ 760
M ~800 (hopefully)

yeah i put markets and fair in urban places whats your reasoning though?

anyone rmb the 1/4 circle shaded question? what was the answer?

it was the circle of which one-fifth was shaded.

damn, i got that one wrong=( so that section wasn’t experimental then?

i dont think so

great -2 for math

I put trivial cuz it wouldn’t make sense to say, “he couldn’t bring himself to say something gentle” since that changes the meaning of the sentence.

@SATisfag
he didn’t think the aunts were being arrogant. In fact, he said something about, “tat kind of honesty demands the same leve, of honesty in return”. That doesn’t sound like the aunt was arrogant.

I put SELF-MOCKING but i’m iffy on that one.

@hopefulyoung
I put thus. =3

I also put deliberate intent since “Wenner thinks the butterflies do not migrate because that would imply DELIBERATE INTENT”.

The woman was forceful and direct, and definitely NOT frail or ailing, since she mentions later on that she left “left her age in the house”. Which meant that she appeared younger than she actually was.

does anyone remember all the final questions from math (not the grid-in or the 20min question, just the regular 25min section w/o gridin)

Oh yeah,
I put intense pleasure because he thought the place was better than paradise, and he started being really sentimental. Something about “how can I explain the feeling of the thickness of the air” and something about you have to be there for yourself.
He definitely was not anxious since he fell in love with the place.

@dwarfwarri:
I only remember a couple questions. The last question, the one with a large square and a smaller circle in it, was:

if the area of the shaded region is equal to the area of the circle with radius r. What is the length of the side of the square in terms of r?

Solution:

l^2 - pir^2 = pir^2
l^2 = 2pir^2
l = rsqrt(2pi) The answer was E.

There was also the 3 similar triangles. You just used the fact that it was a 5-12-13 triangle, then 12*2= 24
24+12 = 36.

The tank question:
speed of flow: 25gallons/50s (since it was 40 gallons, but it started with 15 gallons)
flow = .5 gallons/s
.5g in 30s = 15 gallons
15 + original 15 =30 gallons.

Hope that helps. I think these were the most debated questions
