November 2011 Math 2

ooopps… my bad.

Is 750/60+ good for ivies? Meaning someone with that score shouldn’t be viewed THAT much less than someone with an 800. I mean the difference is like 3-4 points.

The similar triangles one was 4.73 or something like that I believe.

yea that’s what i got 4.7 i really wanna know all 50 questions and answers so that we can compile a list and figure out everyone’s score

anyone know what the curve will be? a 43? was the test hard or no?

^Hasn’t the curve always been around 43 for a 800?

what about the flag pole one where the guy is standing 100 feet away from it and his height is 4ft, what is the height of the pole? tan of x/100?

Yeah, solve for x in tan whatever = x/100. But make sure to add 6 to x, since the guy was 6ft tall.

800 50 570 18
800 49 560 17
800 48 550 16
800 47 540 15
800 46 530 14
800 45 520 13
800 44 510 12
800 43 500 11
790 42 490 10
780 41 480 9
770 40 470 8
760 39 450 7
750 38 440 6
740 37 430 5
730 36 420 4
720 35 410 3
710 34 400 2
700 33 390 1
690 32 380 0
680 31 370 –1
680 30 360 –2
670 29

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

What would I get if I got 4 wrong 1 omitted ?

I thought it was easier than the last one. I think I got 42 right, 4 left blank and guessed on three. Hopefully that is high 700s.

What was the answer to the question with f(g(x)) = x?

Both f(x) and g(x) were 1/x.

does anyone have all of the answers?

-__- ;

What do you guys suppose a 4 omit, -2 would be?

smallest standard deviation…cool. i put largest.

I just figured out that the cone question with answer 4% that someone mentioned was from the 2002 Test in the blue book (#48), not from yesterday’s test.

^ wait so…there was no cone question on the test?

I don’t remember a cone question
