|||||November SAT II Biology Discussion|||||

Let the discussion commence.

I’m taking mine on the 1st, but may the Lord be with you guys!! Go with God, and be confident on those subject tests!!!

I think it was kinda hard… :frowning: I read Barron’s but there were some stuff that I’ve never seen before :frowning: don’t know whether I should retake it in December or not…

hmmm what time can we officially begin discussion of specific questions?

Was I the only one who just took a test that had nothing they studied for on it…?

was ok up to 30, once i saw the gallbladder question, gg

Think I said it was lipids? Don’t quite remember.

P.S. I loved how two of the questions (on the E section I believe) were directly from the website. smh

wait can we discuss now?

West Coast should be at the testing center now. shrugs

@IHateYouVirgil I completely agree… I studied so freaking much and the test was all completely random stuff that I didn’t know. ):

:( Well, best we can do is hope for an easy curve right? I actually took the Biology last May, and my gosh, the differences were just astounding (last May was sooo easy). Honestly, CB…

Really? Interesting… Did you take E or M? I took E, and I thought that the E questions were fairly easy - it was just the regular 60 questions that were super hard.

Yeah, E was easy. But the regular were hard fosho. I wish I’d taken a peek at both M and E beforehand though, as I had prepared for both.

Me too… Ack, I just can’t get over how hard it was. It’s making me mad. I doubt that the M could have been much easier than the E, though. Although E did have a few confusing questions. There were SO many questions where I got it down to 2 and guessed. T_T

Me too. I’m really mad because I studied so hard for it, and I really don’t want to have to retake it. There was one experiment that completely stumped me, so there’s like 4 points down the drain already, and I think I omitted like 3.

For what it’s worth, I took Bio M and it was pretty tough. There were quite a few questions that covered topics I hadn’t studied (Curse you Barrons!). I had to guess quite a bit too… I’m just hoping the curve is easy and I pull anything 700+.

Any remember any answers?, I’m completely blanking out

First 4 were about biomes, next 4 were about mitosis maybe?

That seemed way harder than the October test
Ova are fertilized in the fallopian tubes
Blood pressure is highest in the arteries
The one with the rats gallbladder was cut a sensory neuron
What was the answer to the one about the plant bending towards the window?

First four were biomes
I said lush vegetation - tropical rainforest. That’s the only one I remember.
Second four options were lungs/heart/pancreas/etc.
I said diaphragm - lungs, insulin -pancreas
What was the answer to the one about the trees on the north side of a mountain and bushes on the south side?
