November SAT Math Discussion!

hvw, the answer was actually 2.5- it asked for the difference

I agree now that I see that it would be 6 + 5+4 and so on… Crap. With 2 wrong answers do I have a shot at 750+?

Yes. It’s unlikely that two wrong would put you below a 750.

x*y=15?
5/9g+4/9h
65%

can we focus on more questions and not just one?

last question- x+y-xy

III only?

For the question about the sphere that had a circumference of 40 and an arc length of 5, what degree value did you guys get? I got 45. I kept coming up with 22.5 but it wasnt a choice…

And for the last question I said none… I know thats wrong though. Ugh I am so screwed.

i got 45 (10char_)

@skorpius - Yep :)

do you guys remember the fill in math answers? please post.
I remember having 4 as an answer in one question there.
Also, what was the answer to the fill in question which was like… whats the value of x/y ? was it 101

III only is correct, Scorpius. 4 was an answer to the percentage problem. 45 degrees was also the correct answer to the sphere problem. I don’t know what problem you’re referring to with x/y, Reveriece.

I distinctly remember 80 being the answer for a question where the area of 7 boxes was 175?

27 for the arithmetic mean fill in?
P(square)M=M(triangle)P?

and hvw, that’s what i got (80)

27 works. I also got 80 as an answer to the box problem, hvw.

yeah… for the fill in, the last question(or one of the lasts) was asking x/y. It was something like 21x=7y by the end. and Yep I forgot simple math. or I was nervous. :D

mirin, did u get math experimental section- if not, did you have a section with something that looked like this-

y= h/(sqrt(x))

(Answer=162)

remember the square problem? question was like ‘which can u make a square’ and there were symbols. I said E as the answer. it makes a complete square? is that right

three square problems- 289, 225, 64 answer=8?

i got 1995 for one answer. it said not exceeding 2000

y= h/(sqrt(x)) and then x=kz was the question and y=2 and x=4 i believe…i forget the rest of the question
