So guys anybody taking Math Level 2 or Physics this Saturday?

yo im taking Math2 and physics…

I am too. So much stuff to review for physics.

yeah which book are you using?

I might add Physics to the one I’m already signed up for.

Physics. Probably going to fail too, because my teacher didn’t teach us much of anything last year. He though trigonometry was too much for our brains to handles (in Honors Physics…) so we didn’t do much with mechanics except velocity/acceleration. I’m halfway through Kaplan, but getting it pretty well. Still have to do a few more chapters in Princeton Review too. I’m afraid to even attempt a practice test. I may end up not going to school tomorrow too (I’m sick ).

I’m taking physics as well, and I’m truly shocked with the difference between the Kaplan and PR study guides. The PR makes you memorize about twice as much material, and their practice tests are much, much harder. I guess that’s a good thing though?

Im writing Phy, math2 chem. I’m freaking out so bad, because usually i’m amazing at these 3 subjects but I just can’t perform on the practice tests. Hopefully the real thing is easier!

I was preparing using Barrons, now I regret it, should have taken Kaplan. are there any Kaplan Physics tests online? I was getting above 700 in Barrons tests, but got 630 in CB. I usually make mistakes in counting or other tiny details although I know the material I only had 1 month to prepare as my school taught me nothing.

Chem and Physics. Good luck everyone.

I bought Barron’s too, konspace. I think it has a lot of unsolicited material in there

ahmed29957

yes some unnecessary stuff. i’m gonna write one more PR test in physics some review and done :s

i wrote both PR practice test and got 780-760
and wrote kaplan aswell and got 780-760-750
but i found Kaplan i bit too easy…

great scores for PR I got 710-720 on PR’s first test in physics

I took the Collegeboard one both online and in the SAT Subject Test blue book, and I found them a LOT easier than Princeton Review.

Are the ones Collegeboard released accurate still?

@OrangeD00D, same. I took a bunch today, averaged about 790 on Kaplan, 740 on Princeton Review, and 770 on CollegeBoard. I’d assume they are (at least for me), since Kaplan is supposedly easier and Princeton Review a bit harder.

Math 2 just took a practice test … college board 2010-2011 math 2 exam

got a 710 and 770 not bad i guess
simple mistakes

I just got a message that my testing center for November 3rd was closed, and that a makeup test date would be scheduled. On the one hand, I’m happy about being able to sleep in now tomorrow, and relieved that I’ll have more time to study (for Math Level 2, Chemistry & U.S. History). On the other hand, I’m really irritated that the SAT people waited until the last minute (an hour AFTER their telephone customer service had closed for the weekend) to tell me about this, and a bit worried about possible schedule conflicts between the makeup date (whenever it might be) and other previously-scheduled committments - f.ex., an out-of-state merit scholarship interview on 12/8.
I wonder if the makeup test would have to be at the same testing center, or if it could be taken closer to my hometown high school?

Just got back from my test! Math II, Physics, and Chem, the international versions. Went pretty well. I’ll just say make sure you carry your graphing calculator, and learn statistics well.
