Hey Guys.

I received a 700 writing score in the November test. That was a significant drop from the 750 I received in June.

I missed 4 questions and got a 9 essay. I know the essay score was bad but does that sound right?..

Online report says:

-2 Improving Sentences
-2 Identifying Sentence Errors
0 Omitted

MC: 68
Essay: 9

I was very disappointed with the essay score, I was certain it was a 12.

In June I received a 12 essay and I wrote it with little effort. I feel a drop from 12 to 9 was a bit drastic.

Does anybody know if re-scoring of SAT includes the essay portion?

Well, if you want to compare, I got 2 wrong (omitted none) and got a MC score of 74. So your missing 4 and getting a 68 seems on par.

Can’t really comment on the essay question. Maybe you were having a good day writing day when you wrote the 12, with a strong writing muse?

Considering the difference in your essay score from 12 to 9, your score of 750 to 700 seems to reflect that accordingly.

It doesn’t. I’m sure. They don’t rescore essays no matter what.
