Now that you have made your choice for Villanova University:

You need to know the story:

Its severely lacking in racial and economic diversity.

Its full of snotty rich kids.

Its liberal arts are weak and tepid.

Its faculty is not that strong.

Its good in engineering and that is all.

Its in Philadelphia. If you know anything about Phildadelphia is that its not New York or Washington or Boston. Not even close. A distant 4th place.

They say they are Catholic but judging by the behavior of students, its more like Dante's Inferno.

Its superficial and "marketing".

Sports are good. But that won't get you a job.

You should have chosen another school. You know, the one you were down to the wire with but made the Vanilla Choice.

If you want to work in Boston or New York or Washington, good luck with that.

Its law school and graduate school admissions statistics are not all that hot.

But hey, if you want to major in vanilla pudding marketing techniques or "finance" its great!

See you at the basketball games kiddees!

What do you hope to gain by posting your negative view of Nova? There are so many current students who love it and so many new students who are excited about their choice. I’m not sure the point of your post.

It sounds to me like someone is a little bitter about a rejection…

I’ll add to your list:

Villanova doesn’t have enough good pizza restaurants nearby.

Villanova doesn’t have any skyscrapers.

Villanova’s female students are too cute.

Philadelphia doesn’t have 8 million residents.

Villanova’s pickles are too salty.

Someone should have told me there were going to be priests at Villanova.

… what a blessing for all of us who are excited to go to VILLANOVA. Oh and by the way, before you make such broad degrading comments, you may want to do a little more research to back up some of your pitiful comments.

Cry about it

OP apparently visited 'Nova, loved it, and was then rejected…enjoy your years at Schleppy U

Indeed we do. Why so bitter?

Hope you find the help you need.

Ugh go away vanillawafer. Your claims are false and unfounded.

Love,
not a snotty rich kid.

Can anyone guess the poster that was rejected?

Actually, I think it was Justin from the Presidental Scholarship thread. He sounded so bitter because the students he has been tutroing were not finalists for the scholarship. It was quite entertaining to read some of his remarks and then have one of the dads from this tread put him in his place. All of the above comments sound like things that Justin would say. I think he is just using a new name.

I agree it’s Justin reincarnated, here to spread more falsehoods because of a silly grudge he holds against Villanova. No one should take this poster seriously. Anybody who works out their personal issues by posting lies, in a transparent attempt to tarnish a good school, isn’t worth listening to.

He lost credibility with me with the lack of an apostrophe in “its” for some posts

So should we all assume origional poster got rejected from Nova? Although some points had validity (the lack of racial diversity is painfully obvious), this is a very immature post.

Oh the diversity “problem”. I hope you go to the most diverse college there is and get a smelly roommate who can’t speak english.

Last time I checked Nova is not in Philly, but maybe they moved recently.

Most of the students are nice, but no they don’t carry Bibles to the dining hall and only go to Church on Sundays.

I know alot of Nova grads who make alot of money.

Everything else you say is true.
