Hey guys (and dear older ones) im an international student and i started sat with a 1300 real sat score(not prep) and in june i got 1700.
680 math (my math is powerful just stupid mistakes and problems that derived from test center.
500 reading
520 writing with 9 essay score.
I'm taking subject test october bio/chem/mat 2
And taking Reasoning in November.
What should i do in this summer?
I already finished Blue book,Barrons SAT,Kaplan 2400,Eprep online course,Princeton review, and bunch of real sat tests.
I may look like a dumb because i finished that much book and still got 1700 but im neither native nor intrested in english.
This process took like a semester(I started studying 2nd semester of 11th grade)
So i also got lessons from tutors but i think i can do it without them.
So this is pretty much it.
My subjects chem - bio - and maths are pretty powerful so i only need guiduiance for SAT I

I need help please respond

Anyone?? :(

I think you need to learn to love English before doing anything else.

Do you review your mistakes after doing exercises? Doing loads of books without learning from mistakes is also futile since you learn nothing new and keep repeating the same mistakes.

Yes i review my process and mistakes and i was scoring at least 1900 in bluebook sat tests.I dont know why i end up at 1700 :(

Anyone?? I have 5 months and im willing to study a lot.Someone please tell me what i can do?Should i read books, take sat practices or both??

You should practice and review your mistakes. Notice if you make mistakes in a particular area the most and study on that. Save official tests for the last to see how you are doing.

Subject tests:
here’s the deal, theres no need to buy expensive prep courses or books. take a textbook from school and read. Just read. and then reread. After that take a break. Then reread. But while your doing understand what you read. Memorizing blindly is not a smart idea, but good understanding is the key to memorization. Once your done take a practice test or two.

reasoning test:
Use a review book and then study concepts and strategies. understand how to approach math problems, and where to look for errors. Once you have these basic skills. PRACTICE. take practice tests over and over again… and you WILL see your scores improve.

This is what I did and it helped. But everyones different so idk. give it a shot. You can improve if you put your mind to it!

What review book did you use? ^
