<p>I got this mail today regarding this scholar society. I got a letter about joining it and it costs like 70 dollars. Is it real, or is it a scam?</p>

<p>Scam. Find other ways to fluff your resume, if you’re into that kind of thing.</p>
<p>I say go for it. It’s only 70 bucks and you get a bunch of free stuffs, that pretty much it. Thinks of it like buying another CoD games (if people on CC even know what that is)</p>
<p>i dont live in usa. i have never studies in a school in usa. i have a score just below 2000 in sat 1. i am a citizen though by birth. and even i received this invitation today. 
from what i have read on cc, its a scam and i should and will reject it i guess.</p>
<p>Hey, im in the same situation. im a us citizen but live in another country. just got this letter today. I’ve been trying to figure out if its something worthwhile. To be honest, havent come to a conclusion yet, still working on it. What i know though is that its surely a way to get any scholarships, so if you can afford to spend the $70 then why not. It’s something, you know :D</p>
