I recently was accepted to the National Student Leadership Conference.

It costs about $1,500, however, I can afford to pay for it.

Is this something worth doing? Will it look good on my college application?

I was wondering the same thing. Anyone have any idea?

I need to know. The deadlines tomorrow lol.

Tons of ppl get these things. I personally have never gone. It seems like something that would be found on a laundry list of extra curriculars. Thats just my opinion. If you have the money to blow (lol thats a song) and think it’s worthwhile, go for it. But if you dont have 1.5k laying around, then i would say no.

I posted a thread about it a few weeks ago. The impression I got is that you will have fun and learn a lot, but it’s a “money-guzzler”.

Btw, you might want to put this in the Summer programs forum, as the SAT forum isn’t really an appropriate place.

Thanks for the info. Ya I’m not gonna waste my time doing this.
