Before we leave, we should post our blog sites on this forum. That way, we’ll be able to see what’s going on with everyone and their awesome summer/fall semester :)

Quick question: Are we allowed to request time changes? Has anyone swapped before? If not, I’ll stick w/ Korean Fall.

Here is my blog:

Here is my blog you guys:
[Abroad?! I’m there!](http://abroadimthere.blogspot.com/)

I am also still waiting for a reply as to whether I have been accepted or not. I applied for China, and I still have not heard a thing. I know people have been accepted into the China summer program already but I have not heard of anyone who has received notice about whether or not they’ve been accepted for a time during the school year. If someone has, please let me know. But so hopefully they are just taking a long time for the China responses and it is not just an impending rejection.

You’re not the only one cmlblack, which I’m glad! I’m hoping to go to China this summer too, but have not gotten any e-mail yet, and am getting frustrated with the delays in notifications now too. Another classmate of mine from my Chinese online class got accepted to the China program yesterday, and which makes it three of my classmates now who are going. I almost feel left out. Let’s just hope our acceptance letters arrive by this evening or tomorrow!

Arabic summer acceptance was reported on EC. Check your emails - looks like they may be coming early today! Good luck all!

Added your blogs to my bloglist to read!

@my2sons, yeah, Turkey summer results are out.

Thanks generousyang for the update with your classmates getting their letters. It certainly makes me anxious and nervous to get mine but it’s nice to know they’re finally being sent out more and more. And yes, I really hope we get them very soon!

…Well the Arabic update is a little depressing:/ I haven’t received an email. I’m still trying to stay positive in case it comes in tomorrow or something, but it is devastating at the same time!

They notified applicants for the Arabic program today! I’m going to Egypt!

Have the semester and year long Arabic program been notified then?

I’m hoping they didn’t notify everyone about arabic, it seems there are not a lot of posts in the other forums (and here) so I’m hoping they are still rolling them out next week.

Well, it’s funny that I immediately received my acceptance after rambling and complaining (not saying tha others should try it to get the same results). My point is, maybe they’re just being reeeeaaally slow at their jobs, or they cut a lot of staff. On my letter(s), many places were “fill in the blank with her name and where she is going” as compared to a sincere letter. Just ride it out for another week…

@nellsbells I’M GOING TO EGYPT TOO!

Well, the Korea conference call was interesting. Who else was on it? I believe Korean is officially out now.

You guys had a conference call? What about? Will all of the languages have one?

It was basically a Q&A session with a lady from NSLI-Y for anything and everything that people want to know. I’m not sure, but there should definitely be one. Apparently, the Korean kids get to chill with some of the people heading off to China (50 to be exact).

Yea i was there, but i didn’t ask anything haha. thankfully everyone asked all the right questions, so I didn’t have to. (my dogs were barking in the background so i had my phone mute the whole time. But someone else has dogs too haha.0
yea we’ll be seeing some of the students going to china (I think 20?) So that will definitely be fun! Can’t wait now! The conference call definitely gets you excited.
