I applied for the arabic summer. i havent received any notification. Should i expect an acceptance any more?
Did I get rejected if I didn’t receive any emails for Korean summer yet?
What is the next to come out?
Some people say that if you don’t get the acceptance on the first wave then you are not accepted, but others say you still have a chance if the notification has not come in. I applied for the Arabic summer but I still haven’t received an email. I am under the impression that I was not accepted.

So I just asked on the NSLI-Y alumni fb page and It does seem that he is out.

I just saw my rejection email too. Congrats to all the finalists/alternates!!! And to everyone else who didn’t make it, becoming a semi-finalist is still a huge honor! Don’t let this letdown prevent you from pursuing your language learning goals.
Don’t be too bummed if you got a rejection today. Take it from me, I got rejected last year, reapplied and I was accepted into the Korean Summer Program this time. Keep those positive vibes and re-apply next year!

Got my rejection email yesterday evening as well for Russian Summer, congratulations to all of the summer finalists, though. If anyone has any suggestions for Russian-based programs that would include a study abroad opportunity please let me know! Fingers crossed for all of you year applicants out there.

Ughughugh I just want to know whether or not I’m going to Morocco next year! The wait is killing me, especially since i have all my college decisions in at this point (and am waiting on this decision before I make my commitment).
