How much is the amount of AP exams you take considered in college apps? I'm taking as many as I can, but I don't know if that will be enough, because my high school is really bad as far as APs.

This year (10th): AP US History
Next year: AP Chem, AP Spanish
Senior Year: AP English, maybe AP Statistics

Yeah, only 5. Not a lot. =/ I'll also have some college credits. But that's honestly the maximum I can take at my current school; I'm in all the most advanced classes offered. So would that be enough for an Ivy or at least a really good college?

The Ivy quality schools look for you to take advantage of the opportunities that you have availible to you. If that is where you want to go you need to show that with ECs be creative and do something that you would like to talk about or perhaps something that would make the admissions officers want to talk about you.

I have a few ECs… Black belt in Tae Kwon Do, violinist in my school’s chamber orchestra, Spanish Club, German Club, International Service Club. But I don’t know if I’ve done anything interesting enough to really stand out.

your EC’s are totally enough for most schools, maybe not harvard but most schools will look more at your grades, and your ECs won’t matter that much. as for APs, schools just want to see that you’ve taken the max amount that was offered to you, so if you’re in the most advanced classes offered, you’re totally fine. :)

Colleges will see how many AP classes you had available to you and compare how many you took to how many are available at your school. If you took 5 AP’s and there were only 5 at your school your fine, but if you take 5 and 10 are available it might look alittle week.

all true, but make sure you get top SATII scores at least to show that you’re academically prepared for college. unless you have significant extracurricular achievement or special circumstances, you need to prove not only competance but excellence in academics.
