Number of Recommendations

<p>I'm applying to WashU this fall and I am wondering how many teacher recommendations will be appropriate for my application. I already have one teacher recommendation and am also getting one from a professor at WashU that I studied under one summer. Should I seek a second teacher recommendation or would that be overkill?</p>

<p>WashU allows 1-5 I believe. 2 is the norm for most colleges, so it is definitely not under or over.</p>

<p>I did three and it worked out all right.</p>

<p>I think they require 1 teacher rec and 1 counselor rec, but if you send in more, they’ll read it (unlike some schools that discard all “extras”)</p>
