Number of Recs?

How many recs should we be trying to get? It seems like only 2 teachers, math/science and english but some people have been getting more it seems just in case. One example I heard is that a school asked for an additional rec from someone not already submitted once they got an interview, I don't know if it was for a program or extra scholarship or not though. Thanks for the help.

I know BU's program requires three teacher recs (on top of the ones for UG admission) and they have to be from a english, history/foregin lang, and lab sci teacher. But that's the only prog I've seen like that; most only require the two

do you think its ok to get a rec from my American history teacher? (getting other one from physics teacher)

why not....what's the prob

i'm just puttin in 4....chem, math, english, spanish...all 4 are equally good, so im puttin all of em in and let the college choose what it wants to read

i thought it would be better to get recs from science and math teachers. thanks for the response.

shrugs honestly doesn't matter as much as you think

I submitted letters from my Physics teacher, my world history/AP Govt., and English teacher and got into the BU 7-year program this past spring.

kpphy88 what were ur stats

look at my previous posts.
