What's a good number to take?
How many did you guys take?

Most colleges that require SAT II will ask for 2.
only a handful will ask for 3

I heard 3 was the best.

If you're homeschooled, like me, then 4-5. I'm doing 5.

wow cats.
how long did it take you to prepare for 5 subject tests?

I'm taking 3 subject tests. Just take the tests in subjects you feel confident in.

i've taken 3 so far, and i plan on retaking chem while taking 3 more

since im taking ap classes for them

wow cats. That's alot. So you guys think 3 is enough?

Well at most colleges homeschooled kids are required to take a lot of Subject Tests.

3 is enough for everyone else though.

I'd say 3-4 in case you don't do too well on one.

@ anhtimmy - I've only done Chem and Physics so far (800 on each) and that took 2 weeks for both of them. I'm trying to get my study for Literature, US History and Math II done by the end of this month so I don't have to do it during the semester

Three is a good number. If you feel really confident in more areas though, it wouldn't hurt to have high scores in 5 areas. lol
