Nursing major at CSULA

Im thinking about applying to CSULA as undeclared. If accepted to CSULA, when I’m a student there how difficult would it be for me to transfer into the nursing major? would i be able to do it right away? i just want to be able to do my nursing pre reqs so that i can apply and go to nursing school…

(applying as undeclared so that it won’t hurt my chances of getting in since the nursing major is VERY IMPACTED)

You cannot switch your major to Pre-Nursing upon being accepted as Undeclared. You need to take the pre-req courses and maintain a GPA of 2.75 before you can officially declare the major: Pre-Nursing.

Human Anatomy and Physiology – I and II -Fundamentals of Chemistry
*Critical Thinking course
-English 101
-Statistics
-Microbiology
-Public Speaking or Oral Communication

Not sure why you keep asking the same questions. Apply as a Pre-Nursing applicant and pick another science as your alternate, this way you can take the required Pre-Nursing science classes at the same time as your alternate major classes. You posted you were interested in Microbiology, so select that as your alternate major. The Pre-Nursing pre-req’s overlap with the courses for the Microbiology major.
