Nursing Program

Hi so I am a junior is high school and i am very interested in Upitt's nursing program. With my 3.6-3.7 gpa and an SAT composite of 2090, I believe I will get into the school. I was just wondering if the nursing program has different requirements needed to attend? And would you start the pre-requisites for nursing, such as biology and anatomy, as an undergrad, first year of college? Or would I start the program after a few years of general core courses? Also, can someone inform me if upitt accepts highschool ap course credits?
Thank you!

Nursing is one of the more difficult schools to get into at Pitt but your numbers look pretty good. You enter the nursing school as a freshman and most of the first year courses are nursing classes. By year 2 you are in clinicals. Pitt has the curriculum on line. As for AP you will need to talk to nursing about what they take.

Thank you so much for the info. I will talk with my counseler and discuss the options.
