Nursing programs in Texas

Howdy! I'm currently a high school senior in Texas and I plan on becoming a CRNA.
I have applied to UT, Texas Tech, UTA, UH, TAMU, and TWU. I'm in the top 10% and currently waiting for my letter for UT.

I have had talks with older peers and they have all told me that sooner or later I would have to face loans. I have been told that with the field of nursing always in demand, I would be able to pay them off.

I am also planning to knock out some of my pre reqs at my local community college next semester and during the summer.

Honestly, I am torn. I'm all about the school spirit, which is really making me lean towards TAMU and UT. Is it worth it? I've read other posts that have said it doesn't really matter where you get your degree as long as you have one.

TWU and UTA are the closest to home for me but I'm not too excited about these schools.

I might need a reality check, haha. Any advice would be appreciated.

UTD is the commuter school for me also. I have heard of the CAP program w/ UT and I was wondering if anyone else has done this as well?
