Does anyone have any experience pledging/joining a sorority that is a nursing major?
I'm thinking of joining one but i'm scared that my GPA will drop as i pledge. And plus, alot of time goes into nursing AND joining a sorority :/ I'm pretty good with time management but i'm not too sure!

If anyone has any advice please let me know! :)

I don’t have any experience with nursing majors personally, but I am in a sorority and we have girls in other very time-consuming programs from biomedical engineering to music performance. Also, just a little interesting fact, the average GPA among Greeks is actually usually significantly higher than the average GPA for the whole student body!

My advice would be to go ahead and go through rush/recruitment/whatever the process is at your school, and see what happens. :)

Well, thats a good advice to be given here. Obviously you have to find several suitable opportunities to be in touch with.

The most time-consuming part of being in a sorority is when you’re a new member. Once you’re initiated, it gets a lot easier. Also, usually if you have conflicting obligations (class or test during a sorority event), your sisters will usually excuse you.
