NUS and NTU Cutoff

Hi all
I will be giving my A levels this year. I am very curious to know what is the cutoff for A level holder to get Computer Enginerring in NTU AND NUS. I know that official cutoff is not released but if someone could tell me approx. cutoff it would be of great help.

Abhishiv Saxena

Why set a ceiling for yourself? Get straights As and you have no worries. & who knows, you might even get scholarships.

NUS: AAB (i got offered)
NTU: nt really sure. My guess is BBC.

Thanks Naff for your post. I think cutofs would be higher for me as i am International Student. If you know anything about it please post.

exactly...

The cutoff is definitely much higher for international students...

I'm just curious here...Do Singaporeans have to write the entrance test we Int'ls write to be admitted at NTU?

no,i guess not from wat they say...i noe for a fact from friends frm sg that NTU is a breeze to get into...

no, it's almost effortless to apply to NUS and NTU for locals. for locals who are clear-cut admits (that basically means u're above the cutoff based on the university entry score, which is computed from your a levels, ccas (yes u get a grade for that), and project work), all you have to do is to fill up an online form which essentially just requires you to enter your NRIC number (equivalent of US Social Security Number) and rank your choice of courses. Because NUS and NTU are national universities, they have access to all your records so you don't even have to type them in! So that's it, and you get your admission letter in a couple of months' time. Borderline cases may be called for an interview though. This doesn't apply to Medicine, Law and Dentistry though, which usually require additional testing and interviews.
