I was wondering whether the UConn Nutmeg Scholarship or the Presidential Scholars award is better. My counselor nominated me for for the Nutmeg scholarship. However, I am the valedictorian of my class, so would applying for the Presidential Scholars Award (which is only available for valedictorians and salutatorians) be better? My school recently got rid of class rank and percentile (but I know my GPA is #1) and I’ll talk to my guidance counselor about the Presidential Scholars Award if it’s worth it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
