Hi guys uhm i’m just constantly freaking out because it seems they’re moving up and going through jan 19th auditions and now some jan 26th auditions and i’m wondering when they’ll get to anyone who auditioned in the first week of Feb in NYC. i’m sure i’m not the only one checking my ithaca everyday to see if my audition moved columns. has anyone gotten accepted from NYC auditions? or has anyone noticed their audition moved columns? obviously won’t affect my outcome but i’m just curious

I don’t know if this is any comfort hopefulMT2017, but we still haven’t heard anything from my S Jan 26 audition… On MyIthaca, the audition portion did move to the other column, and on this board that is interpreted as a decision made, but who really knows? Hang in there… I’m sure Ithaca and other schools which have a bit more of a rolling process have a good feel for not filling their classes too early. These school really want to have a good talent pool and know that to do so they must see everyone. The wait is absolutely maddening though. You are not alone!

We haven’t heard anything from my son’s January 12th audition in Washington DC. No change in column yet. Yes, it’s maddening, but no news is good news, I think. I’m checking MyIthaca every day but I haven’t actually shared with my son the information I’ve learned on here about the columns, so he’s not expecting to hear for a while. (It’s one of his two top choice schools.)

Keep in mind that with Ithaca, based on my experience and observations, is that some people hear one way or another on a rolling basis, but many will not hear until the end of all the auditions and so no news could end up being positive news.

at the Chicago Unifieds when they did their talk they did tell everyone that most would not hear until the end.

yeah, it is true that most will not hear until the end, with the exception of some very talented kids and some rejections. I guess we do just have to wait it out and see. I really love the feel i’m getting from ithaca though, as i’m sure most people do. at least the good news is their last audition is feb. 23rd! next weekend! a lot of schools run auditions till mid-march, so it is a good thing. means we will hear back earlier; probably within 3 weeks. let’s hope it goes by quickly.

I auditioned for Ithaca on February 2nd during the afternoon session of NYC Unified Auditions held in Nola Studios and my audition just moved today to the “What We Have Received” column. Also noting that the last round of auditions were held this past weekend I guess decisions should be underway.
