<p>What are some methods of transportation I can take to get from NYU or New York City in general to Rutgers University in New Brunswick? I want to visit some friends when I have free time.</p>
<p>Did some quick searching, and it seems I can take the NJ Transit from Penn Station to somewhere in New Brunswick. Would it be alright for me to travel alone at some of the earlier or later times? Should I wait till midday?</p>
<p>4 AM might not be a good time but from 6 am to midnight you will be fine.</p>
