NYS schools please?

I want to go to a school In NY and I have some questions and I need suggestions.

I have a 4.0 UW GPA I don't know about the SAT yet but I'm assuming I'll do decently with at least a 1500. Again this is unsure, but I just need suggestions for schools

I want a school within 4 Hours of NYC in the city is fine as well. I am looking at SUNY schools as well as CUNY schools, but I would like to see some private schools (preferably in NYC) that offer Childhood education, psychology and sociology ( or one of those two, childhood education is a MUST). The campus should have on campus housing as well. I have done some research but I am only going to a junior, and with school out I really have no idea where to start, so please no rude comments about me doing my own research.

As for my questions I was wondering at how I should be looking at price. Like I'm pretty sure I'll be getting money either from scholarships, or grant and merit money. So suppose I can comfortably pay 20k a year should I also look at schools that cost 30k?

Thank you in advance for any and all answers :)
