Is my financial aid status on the right track to an acceptance? This seems like a different status somewhere in the middle. Anyone else have the same message?

hey guys don’t you think we should just post when the decisions are out? seeing that most of the time we are not able to edit our posts. i think we should refrain from double-posting. just saying though! :)

Has anyone had their status changed within the last few days? Is it possible that some accounts are still going to have that change or is it too late?

Mine just changed to 2014 New York University Award access not available. I applied to NYUAD though

Mine changed to “Award access not available” BUT NOT “2014 award access not available”… Are they the same thing? Or did everyone’s FA status changed like mine?

Same here, mine changed too but without the “2014”…What does that mean?

I have the same situation! Mine changed to Award Access not Available, without the 2014. Is it the same thing?

FA status page recently changed to below:
Financial Aid

Select Aid Year to View

Award access not available.

Seems like the last few people who have posted here had theirs changed without the 2014…

Lol seems like without the 2014 indicates rejection. What are the chances that everyone on here got admitted all of the sudden? haha… :/

But I thought it meant a rejection if it DIDN’T change. Perhaps the 2014 doesn’t come if you’re an international applicant? Are you international? I am.

I’m not international, but I applied through HEOP… I’m not sure if that makes a difference in Financial Aid lol

Maybe it doesn’t come if you’re not eligible for financial aid, which no international applicant is.

I live in United States, but I do not have my green card yet so yea. Technically I’m international but… I am guessing the admission just changed EVERYONE’s FA status to “Award not available”… Unless some people didn’t get the change yet…

Unless we confirm that some applicants didn’t have their FA statuses changed to “award not available” or “2014 award not available”, without the number 2014 probably indicates rejection… Agh

Dasanii, a lot of applicants DID NOT have their FA status changed. For them, the FA status reads “there is no financial aid information available”. I know this for a fact, and there have been people for whom it hasn’t changed in the ED1 and ED2 pools. All those in ED2 for whom it didn’t change were rejected. And all those for whom it was changed were accepted. We seem to be in the middle!

Here is proof: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/new-york-university/1460258-nyu-edii-fa-change-result-disclosure-pledge-thread-4.html

Are you sure? Cuz my friends who had the ‘no info found’ all got the ‘award not available’.
