some people who applied for the spring semester of 2016 didn’t hear back until January! There were acceptances and rejections released just a few weeks before the spring semester started so it could be a long or short wait. No one knows
Do you think NYU is like UCLA, where some majors in CAS are more competitive to get int? And if you pick a major that not many people applied to, you’ll have a higher chance of getting in because the competition is not that high?

Yes. Butttt CAS is one of the more competitive schools within NYU. So you never know.

The thing is I submitted my application on 11/4 and received my Albert ID just today. Do you thing that the fact that I submitted my App late will hurt my chance of getting accepted?

I had a friend who applied to USC her senior year, but she was rejected because she submitted the supplement essay late.
@Popcorn11201 I really hope they wouldn’t care too much abt when the application was submitted, but then again they would probably take it as I was not very interested in the school.

I’m in my first semester of college and we don’t get mid term grades, so what grades will they be looking at??
@SOS1234 I idn’t send my mid -term grade. On Albert, it doesn’t say that I am missing it so I think they don’t require it .
me too I’m a first semester freshman, I printed the midterm report and went to every teacher to sign and write basically how I’m doing, based on the first tests/quizzes/classwork. Which school within NYU are you applying to? @SOS1234
@ssdp your also a freshman ? They require it if your freshman bc otherwise there’s no gpa for them to see
