Are 3 years of language required? Can you get into NYU with only 2 languages?
Google not working for you? https://www.nyu.edu/admissions/undergraduate-admissions/apply/transfer-applicants/instructions/high-school-preparation.html I’m sure if there are circumstances surrounding fewer than 3 years of a language (like the school doesn’t offer beyond level 2) they would still consider you.
Yes, you can. It’s recommended, not required.
I am Chinese-American, but I got a 4 on the AP Chinese test and took Chinese 3 in freshman year and am now taking Chinese 5 in senior year just so I can graduate from my high school. Only 2 years of language in my 1st and last years of high school, this should be okay right? Considering I’m getting 98+s anyways and my 4 on the AP test. Also, Chinese 5 is the highest level of Chinese offered at my school anyways…
Thanks in advance!
Never mind my previous question. Got it answered by some friends at NYU CAS and stern right now. Some of them only took 2 years of language in high school too.
