Has anyone done summer programs at any of these schools?
and with NYU, do they only have academic summer classes for commuters, and then the rest are for like performance and visual arts?

i did the high school honors program at BU...it was definitely the BEST summer of my life. i loved it--the people, the classes, the city...definitely go for boston. widest variety of classes than most summer programs i've seen plus they offer financial aid

how much is it?

total cost is around 5900 for 6 weeks. i got financial aid for 3000.

There's no curfew at NYU... I didn't go there (I went to Columbia) but I heard it's pretty good...

its seems though that the NYU program is only for commuters.
Is that true?

That's what it seems like, but I do know people who came from overseas to do it, so I don't know how dorming works out. Try contacting them. Maybe these people had apartments in the city... I'm not really sure...

when i was looking around for programs, i looked at nyu but it was commuters only, so that didn't really work.

there's a curfew at bu, but its not that bad--11 from sunday-thursday, and 12 fridays and saturdays.

That's the same curfew at Columbia!
