Great essays
The most demanding science classes one can take ( i will have 8 science classes under my belt when i graduate 7 w. a lab)

I know NYU isnt known for medicine and that most med kids go to colubmia, but as my major i put premed and put physician as intended career. Do you think that will give me an edge?

Also, my family has an income of 10k a year, but money is not an issue. I sent my financial aid estimate and tax return forms to NYU. Do you think that will hurt my chances because they will think i need alot of financial aid?

On top of that, my brother goes to harvard, do you think that that will help?

I think you have a great shot, especially since you're doing early decision (I've known people who got into CAS ED with with much lower GPAs, but it may depend on the reputation of your high school). Your brother attending Harvard will do nothing for you, but you don't need him :)

My Highschool was ranked 860 something nationally according to Newsweek

10k is how much?

10k income from some side thing
My family has money to pay full tuition however.

Can anyone answer my questions?

from what i heard on cc, it does not really matter...

what about the premed question?

5.5/7? That's extremely low, 78.2%? 2.3?
Your test's are not bad though, you still have a chance I believe?

Your brother going to Harvard will not help at all.
10k income yet still have money for tuition? =P

Our valedictorian has a GPA of 6.899
so ya

and 5.5/7 is equivelant to 3.2/4 i think

To answer your questions, NYU is need blind, and I don't think physician as intended major will give you an edge.

O really?
I thought NYU was need blind ONLY for RD
i thought the whole reason you were supposed to send in the tax return forms was to see if u could pay full tuition for ED
