im feeling quite nervous that I havent received the “would u still attend” email. But then I realized I didn’t apply for Financial aid so maybe thats why? ahhh freaking out

I did get the email last night and I responded saying I would attend and could do so without any money, but I made the stupid mistake of calling the financial office and asking if aid was possible in the future and now I am positive i ruined my chances because they took my name
Has anyone’s financial aid status changed to 2015: awards not available instead of just awards not available?

No, the email began by stating, "“I am writing to inquire about your interest in NYU. It appears we may have space in our Liberal Studies Core Program…” and later mentioned, “Regrettably, we have exhausted our financial aid budget at this point, so scholarships, loans, and work-study grants would likely not be available if you were admitted to NYU.”
What if I didn’t get the email…does that mean I have no chance?
@greenturtlegirl Did you get a response when you emailed them back? I got the same email yesterday, saying that I should respond within 48 hours. I emailed them around lunchtime today, but I haven’t received a response like some other people have mentioned.
Also, do you know if that email guarantees a spot in the LSP program on reply? I’m not 100% committed, but I want to know if NYU is even an option before I make a decision.

Got an email confirming my spot on the waitlist today despite never consciously submitting the form… hm. I do love NYU but won’t be able to afford it, and don’t plan on getting admitted since I didn’t fill out the fields!
